Comparison review
The Galaxy S21 has an overall score of 91.8, which is a bit better than Xperia 5 III's general score of 90.5. Galaxy S21's construction is just a little bit thinner but a bit heavier than the Xperia 5 III, and they were only released with a couple months difference. Both of these devices use the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
The Xperia 5 III features a CPU that's very similar to the Galaxy S21 one, they have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount. The Galaxy S21 features a slightly better screen than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch of screen and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a little larger screen.
The Sony Xperia 5 III has a very superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S21, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xperia 5 III features just a bit better camera than Galaxy S21, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels, the Xperia 5 III also has a bigger sensor providing a better image quality, a bigger aperture and better video frame rate.
The Xperia 5 III counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy S21, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
