Galaxy S21 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, having a global score of 91.8 against 79. These devices come with the same Android 11 OS, so they should provide very similar OS features. Galaxy S21 is a newer cellphone, and it is also somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S.
The Galaxy S21 has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S21 also has 4 GB more RAM. Galaxy S21 features a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Galaxy S21 also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S21, because although it has a tinier sensor, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and a F1.8 aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with better video frame rate and a way more mega pixels back camera.
