Comparison review
The Galaxy S22 Ultra has an overall score of 95.4, which is slightly better than the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max's 94.9 general score. Although Galaxy S22 Ultra and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max were released only a couple of months apart, Galaxy S22 Ultra's construction is somewhat thicker but also a little bit lighter than Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max. The Galaxy S22 Ultra works with Android 13 OS, and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max counts with iOS 16.x OS.
IPhone 14 Pro Max counts with a quite better processing power than Galaxy S22 Ultra, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU. The Galaxy S22 Ultra counts with a much better display than Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, because it has a little bigger display, a little bit more pixels per screen inch and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3088px.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max features as much storage to store more games and applications as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features a bit longer battery duration than iPhone 14 Pro Max, because it has a 16% larger battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra takes much clearer photos and videos than iPhone 14 Pro Max, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra also has a back camera with a much better 108 MP resolution and a way higher video resolution.
Although Galaxy S22 Ultra is a better device, it costs a little more money than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPhone 14 Pro Max. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S22 Ultra, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the iPhone 14 Pro Max, resigning a couple specs and features.
