Galaxy S22 Ultra is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A42, getting a 95.4 score against 87. Galaxy S22 Ultra is a newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy A42, although it's a bit thicker and heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S22 Ultra has 13 version while Samsung Galaxy A42 has Android 11.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a much sharper screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a lot higher 1440 x 3088 resolution, a much better display pixel density and a quite larger screen. The Galaxy A42 has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy S22 Ultra, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1000 GB.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S22 Ultra also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy A42 have very similar battery performance. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a lot better camera than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra also has a way higher video definition and a camera with a lot better 108 mega pixels resolution.
