The Galaxy S22 Ultra is a bit better than the Galaxy A71, with a global score of 95.4 against 87.5. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S22 Ultra has the newer 13 version and Galaxy A71 has Android 11 version, so it gives you some nice extra features and performance tweaks. Although the Galaxy S22 Ultra is a lot newer than Galaxy A71, it is thicker and much heavier.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a much sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because it has a better 1440 x 3088 resolution, a higher display density and a bit bigger display. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S22 Ultra also has more RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S22 Ultra, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra also has a lot bigger sensor, a lot higher video definition and a way higher 108 MP resolution back camera.

Galaxy S22 Ultra counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy A71, because it has an 11% larger battery size.

Although Galaxy S22 Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A71. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy A71, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
