Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a score of 95.4, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S9's global score of 83.3. Although the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy S9, it is extremely heavier and a bit thicker. The Galaxy S9 has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 3088px and a larger screen. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra captures much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and videos, it also counts with a lot larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a camera with a lot higher resolution.
Galaxy S9 has a bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S22 Ultra, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. Galaxy S22 Ultra counts with a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S9. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S9, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
