IPhone 14 Pro Max has a score of 94.9, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S22's 93.4 overall score. Although iPhone 14 Pro Max is a better device than Samsung Galaxy S22, we must note that it's also a little bit thicker and much heavier. IPhone 14 Pro Max comes with iOS 16.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy S22 has Android 13 OS.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max has a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy S22, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU. The Galaxy S22 features a sharper screen than iPhone 14 Pro Max, although it has a little bit smaller display, a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a little bit lower display pixels density.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max features as much memory capacity for applications and games as the Galaxy S22 one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max has just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S22, because it has a 17 percent bigger battery size. The Samsung Galaxy S22 counts with a slightly better camera than iPhone 14 Pro Max, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S22 also has a higher resolution back facing camera and a lot higher video quality.
Although iPhone 14 Pro Max is a better device, it costs more money than Samsung Galaxy S22, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S22. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 14 Pro Max, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S22, giving up some features and specifications.
