Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S22 is slightly better than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, getting a general score of 93.4 against 90.9. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S22 has newer 13 version while Huawei Mate 40 Pro has Android 10 version. The Samsung Galaxy S22 construction is newer, notably lighter and somewhat thinner than Huawei Mate 40 Pro.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little better performance than Galaxy S22. Both have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM memory. Galaxy S22 has a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, a quite smaller screen and a bit inferior pixels quantity per display inch.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro's camera is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy S22 one, because although the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a tinier aperture which is not nice for taking images and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S22, because it has more internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with just a bit better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S22, because it has a 19% bigger battery size.
