Comparison review
The Galaxy S22 has a score of 93.4, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy S9's 83.3 global score. Even though Galaxy S22 is just a little bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy S9, it's just a little bit thinner and also noticeably newer. The Galaxy S9 counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy S22, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Galaxy S22 has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a lot worse display density and a lot lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little bit bigger display. Samsung Galaxy S9 features a bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S22, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 400 GB.
Galaxy S22 takes way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photos and video, it also counts with a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera, a lot better 7680x4320 video definition and a much larger sensor which gives a much higher photo and video quality.
Galaxy S22 features greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S9, because it has a 23 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S22 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S9. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S22, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S9, letting go a couple features and specs.
