Comparison review

Galaxy S22 has an overall score of 93.4, which is better than Galaxy XCover 5's global score of 78.1. The Galaxy S22 body is newer, somewhat thinner and a bit lighter than Galaxy XCover 5. Both devices we are comparing here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S22 has a newer 13 version while Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11, so it counts with some nice extra features and optimized performance.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a higher pixel density, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a bigger display. Galaxy S22 has just a bit better performance than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S22 also has more RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S22, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy S22 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same aperture, the Galaxy S22 also has a back camera with much more megapixels and a lot better video definition.

The Galaxy S22 has superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 23% bigger battery size.
