Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is slightly better than Xperia 1 III, having a general score of 93.4 against 93.3. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S22 and the Xperia 1 III were released with only a few months difference, the Samsung Galaxy S22 is a bit thinner and lighter. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S22 has 13 version and Xperia 1 III has Android 11.
Xperia 1 III counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy S22, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 4 GB more RAM. Galaxy S22 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia 1 III, although it has a lot worse pixel density, a bit smaller display and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
Xperia 1 III features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S22, because it has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy S22 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures and/or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a larger sensor taking better quality videos and pictures, a way better 7680x4320 video definition and a lot better 50 MP resolution camera in the back.
The Xperia 1 III counts with superior battery life than Galaxy S22, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
The Galaxy S22 is not only the best devices between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
