Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a global score of 79.5, which is a bit better than Galaxy S23's 77.9 general score. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but Asus ROG Phone 8 has a more recent 14 version while Galaxy S23 has Android 13, so it provides some additional features and better performance. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy S23, because although it has a quite worse amount of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400px resolution and a little bigger display.
Samsung Galaxy S23 and Asus ROG Phone 8 have quite similar processing units, and although the Asus ROG Phone 8 has 4 GB more RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S23, because it has 256 GB internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much better camera than Galaxy S23, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for taking pictures and video in low light environments, they both have the same back camera sensor size and a same resolution camera in the back.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S23, because it has a 41% larger battery capacity.
