The Galaxy S23 has an overall score of 77.9, which is a bit better than the HTC One M9's general score of 77.7. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but Galaxy S23 has newer 13 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, so it gives you some nice extra features. The Galaxy S23 design is a lot thinner and notably lighter than the HTC One M9.
The HTC One M9 has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy S23, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch. HTC One M9 features a much faster processor than Galaxy S23, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a graphics co-processor and a 64 bits processing unit.
Galaxy S23 features a much better memory for games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Galaxy S23 and HTC One M9 feature quite similar cameras, although the HTC One M9 has a lot less mega-pixels back-facing camera, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for taking photographs and videos in low-light environments and a way smaller back-facing camera sensor offering a lot worse image quality.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 features a much longer battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 37 percent larger battery capacity.
