Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S25 has a global score of 82.6, which is a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's 79.5 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy S25 construction is a lot thinner and lighter than Asus ROG Phone 8. Both of these devices work with the same Android 14 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any differences regarding OS features.
The Galaxy S25 features a little sharper display than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little better pixels density and a bit brighter display. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S25, because it has 256 GB internal storage.
Asus ROG Phone 8's processor is just as good as the CPU in Galaxy S25, and although the Asus ROG Phone 8 has more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 and Galaxy S25 have extremely similar cameras, and although the Asus ROG Phone 8 has lower 24 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and video in low-light environments, they both have a 50 megapixels resolution camera in the back, a 0.64 inches sensor and the same 7680x4320 video resolution.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S25, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
