Comparison review

The Galaxy S25 is slightly better than the Galaxy S8, getting a score of 82.6 against 81.7. Galaxy S25 is a way lighter and noticeably thinner cellphone than the Galaxy S8. Samsung Galaxy S25 features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy S8, because although it has a lot lower pixel amount per display inch and a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a quite bigger display.

Galaxy S8 has a little bit better memory for apps and games than Galaxy S25, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 256 GB. Galaxy S8 counts with a really superior processing power than Galaxy S25, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

Galaxy S25 shoots a lot better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting images or video in low light situations, it also counts with a lot more mega pixels back facing camera, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a way better photo and video quality and a lot higher video resolution.

Galaxy S25 features improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Although Galaxy S25 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S25, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S8, letting go a couple features and specs.
