The Samsung Galaxy S25 has an overall score of 82.6, which is a bit better than the Xperia Z5's 77.6 global score. The Samsung Galaxy S25 construction is a lot lighter and incredibly thinner than Xperia Z5. These phones include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S25 has newer 14 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it counts with some additional features and improved performance.
Galaxy S25 has a little sharper screen than Xperia Z5, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2340px resolution and a larger screen. Samsung Galaxy S25 counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Xperia Z5 has an extremely better CPU than Galaxy S25, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy S25 captures much better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S25 also has a way bigger camera sensor taking much better quality photos, a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and a much better 7680x4320 video definition.
The Galaxy S25 features a way better battery duration than Xperia Z5, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy S25 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia Z5. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Xperia Z5, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
