Samsung Galaxy S4 is a bit better than Galaxy S4 Active, getting a 76.1 score against 71.7. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S4 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy S4 Active has Android 4.4, giving you some extra features and performance enhancements. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is a thinner and lighter cellphone than the Galaxy S4 Active, although both were released with only 3 months difference.
The Galaxy S4 features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy S4 Active. They have a Quad-Core processing unit, a 2 GB RAM and a 400 MHz graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a screen that is very similar to the display in Galaxy S4 Active, both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, a better number of pixels per inch in the screen and a display with the same size.
Galaxy S4 has as much storage for games and applications as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active one, both of them have an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB and equal internal memory capacity. Galaxy S4 takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S4 Active, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S4 also has a much more megapixels back facing camera.
Galaxy S4 counts with a battery lifetime that is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active one.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Galaxy S4 is also cheaper than the Galaxy S4 Active, making this phone a very good choice.
