Comparison review
Galaxy S5 Plus is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, with a score of 78.1 against 71.7. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S5 Plus has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has Android 4.4 version, giving you a couple additional features and some performance improvements. Galaxy S5 Plus is a newer phone, and it is also a bit lighter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and the Galaxy S5 Plus have incredibly similar displays, because although the Galaxy S5 Plus has a little bit worse quantity of pixels per inch of screen, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite larger screen. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has slightly more memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, and although they both have 4 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also has a much better graphics processing unit. The Galaxy S5 Plus captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, because it has a much higher (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S4 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S4 Active. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy S4 Active, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
