Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than Galaxy S4 Active, getting an 85.7 score against 71.7. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 Edge has newer 5.0 version while Galaxy S4 Active has Android 4.4, giving lots of additional features and better performance. The Galaxy S6 Edge is a newer cellphone, and it's also lighter and a lot thinner than the Galaxy S4 Active.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a quite better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, because it has a 64-bit processing unit, a higher amount of RAM, a higher number of cores and a much better graphics processor. The Galaxy S6 Edge has just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, because it has a higher screen density, a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a bit larger screen.
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S4 Active, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge captures a lot better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, because it has a lot more mega pixels camera in the back and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Galaxy S4 Active and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge both count with quite similar battery durations.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
