Galaxy S8 is much better than Galaxy S4 Active, with an 81.7 score against 71.7. The Galaxy S8 design is way newer and somewhat thinner, but a little heavier than the Galaxy S4 Active. Samsung Galaxy S8 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S4 Active, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more RAM and a greater number of cores.
The Galaxy S4 Active features a bit sharper display than Galaxy S8, although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, a bit smaller screen and a little worse display pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S4 Active, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory.
Galaxy S8 has a little longer battery life than Galaxy S4 Active, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy S8 takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, because it has a back facing camera with a way higher resolution and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Galaxy S8 is more expensive than Galaxy S4 Active, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
