Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has an overall score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S4's 78.3 overall score. Both devices in this comparison review work with the same Android 5.0 OS. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge's design is newer than Galaxy S4's, but it is extremely heavier and just a bit thicker.

The Galaxy Note Edge has a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a bit bigger display, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy S4 has a bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Note Edge features a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has 4 lesser processing cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor and a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a 15% larger battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality, a back-facing camera with more MP and a way better video resolution.
