The Apple iPhone 12 mini has a global score of 88.5, which is better than Samsung Galaxy S4's general score of 79. The Apple iPhone 12 mini construction is much newer and a little thinner, but also just a little bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy S4. Apple iPhone 12 mini comes with iOS 14.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy S4 works with Android 4.4 operating system.
The iPhone 12 mini has a bit better looking screen than Galaxy S4, because it has a little bit bigger display, a little bit better pixel count per inch of display and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Galaxy S4 features much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Apple iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy S4 also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
The iPhone 12 mini counts with a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory, a 64-bit processing unit and 2 more processing cores. The Apple iPhone 12 mini shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has a back facing camera with lesser mega-pixels, it also counts with a much higher video definition and a lot bigger aperture for better low light captures and video.
Galaxy S4 has just a bit better battery life than Apple iPhone 12 mini, because it has 2600mAh of battery capacity against 2227mAh.
Although iPhone 12 mini is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the iPhone 12 mini, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S4, resigning a couple specifications.
