Comparison review

The Google Nexus 6 has a global score of 81.1, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S4's 79 global score. Google Nexus 6's design is newer than the Galaxy S4's, although it is a lot heavier and way thicker. Both phones we are comparing include Android operating system, but Google Nexus 6 has a more recent 5.1 version and Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version, providing the user a lot of extra features and performance tweaks.

The Google Nexus 6 features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy S4, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Google Nexus 6 also has more RAM memory and a better graphics co-processor working at 500 MHz. Samsung Galaxy S4 has a bit more vivid display than Google Nexus 6, although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, a little bit smaller screen and a little lower pixels number per screen inch.

The Galaxy S4 counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy S4 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 64 GB. The Google Nexus 6 counts with improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity.

Google Nexus 6 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy S4, and although they both have a 13 MP resolution back facing camera, the Google Nexus 6 also has a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a larger diafragm aperture.

Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S4. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S4, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
