Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S4's 79 global score. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a notably newer device than Samsung Galaxy S4, but it is noticeably heavier and a bit thicker. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with just a little better performance than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and more processing cores.
Galaxy S4 counts with a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a just a bit less pixels per display inch and a lot smaller screen. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy S4, because it has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality, a back-facing camera with much more MP, a bigger aperture to capture better photos in low-light environments and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a little bit better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S4, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S4, because it has a 4200mAh battery size instead of 2600mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S4. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S4, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
