Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but Huawei Nova 9 has newer 11 version and Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version.
Huawei Nova 9 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more processing cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy S4 has a sharper display than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a little higher display density.
Huawei Nova 9 has a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity. Huawei Nova 9 has a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy S4, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
Huawei Nova 9 features a way better camera than Galaxy S4, because it has a much higher 3840x2160 video definition, a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low light photos.
