The LG V40 ThinQ is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S4, having an 81.2 score against 79. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but LG V40 ThinQ has a newer 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version. LG V40 ThinQ's design is a lot newer and just a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S4's, although it is also notably heavier.

LG V40 ThinQ features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. Samsung Galaxy S4 features a little sharper display than LG V40 ThinQ, although it has a just a little lower pixel density, a much lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a much smaller display.

LG V40 ThinQ features a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S4, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. LG V40 ThinQ features a better camera than Galaxy S4, because although it has a lower 12 megapixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a lot bigger camera aperture to take better low-light captures and videos, a way higher (4K) video definition and a bigger camera sensor.

LG V40 ThinQ features longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S4, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.

Although LG V40 ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S4. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy LG V40 ThinQ, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S4, letting go some features and specifications.
