Comparison review
LG Velvet is better than Galaxy S4, having an 87.1 score against 79. The LG Velvet design has the same thickness than Galaxy S4, but it is a lot heavier. The LG Velvet features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores (and also faster).
The Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a more vivid screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a really smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels amount in each inch of display. The LG Velvet counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S4, because it has a back-facing camera with much more MP, a lot bigger sensor, a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger aperture.
The LG Velvet counts with a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S4, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S4, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.
Although LG Velvet is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S4. So if you need that extra features, you can buy LG Velvet, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S4, letting go some specifications.
