Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a bit better than the Galaxy S4, getting a general score of 85.3 against 79. Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is much heavier than Galaxy S4, it's noticeably thinner and also much newer. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has newer 11 version and Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version, so it gives you a couple additional features.

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 6 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of cores. The Galaxy S4 features a little bit better display than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a much lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater screen density.

The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S4, because although it has a lesser megapixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a much larger camera aperture to take better photos and videos in low light environments and a much higher (4K) video quality.
