Motorola Edge 40 Pro is just a bit better than the Galaxy S4, getting an 83.4 score against 79. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a newer 13 version while Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version, so it offers a lot of extra features. Although the Motorola Edge 40 Pro is newer than Galaxy S4, it's just a little thicker and way heavier.

Samsung Galaxy S4 has a very superior performance than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Galaxy S4 features a little sharper display than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels density.
