The Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is much better than the Galaxy S4's score of 79. Galaxy A42's design is extremely newer, but extremely heavier and just a little bit thicker than Galaxy S4. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A42 has 11 version while Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4, so it offers a couple nice extra features.
Samsung Galaxy S4 features a much sharper screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater count of pixels per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080px. The Galaxy A42 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy S4, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Galaxy A42 features a bit better CPU than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and more CPU cores. The Galaxy A42 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a way more MP back camera, a bigger aperture to take better photography and video in low light environments and a way better 3840x2160 video definition.
The Galaxy A42 counts with a very superior battery life than Galaxy S4, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
