The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S4's general score of 79. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4, counting with some extra features and some performance improvements. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a notably newer cellphone than Samsung Galaxy S4, although it is just a little bit thicker and heavier.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and 4 GB more RAM memory. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S4, letting go some specifications.
