Comparison review
Galaxy S5 has a score of 80.8, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy S4's general score of 79. The Galaxy S5 is a newer device than the Galaxy S4, but it's a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S5 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4.
Galaxy S5 features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S5 also has a better 500 megahertz graphics processor and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy S5 has a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Galaxy S5 also has a quite bigger display and a greater pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy S4 has a greater memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S4, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery size.
The Galaxy S5 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S4, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Galaxy S5 also has a camera in the back with a higher resolution, a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality photographs and videos and a much better (4K) video resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S4. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S4, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
