Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Active is a little bit better than Galaxy S4, with an 80.9 score against 79. The Galaxy S6 Active is a lighter but thicker cellphone than the Galaxy S4. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Galaxy S6 Active has the newer 5.0 version and Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version. Galaxy S6 Active features a superior processing power than Galaxy S4, because it has a faster 650 megahertz GPU, a 64-bits processing unit, a greater number of cores and 1 GB more RAM.
The Galaxy S6 Active features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy S4, because it has a better pixels number per inch of display, a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a bit bigger screen. The Galaxy S4 features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy S6 Active has superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S4, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S4 takes just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for capturing pictures and/or video in low light environments, a camera in the back with a worse 13 megapixels resolution, a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and dull colors and a much worse (Full HD) video resolution.
Although Galaxy S6 Active is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S4. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy S4, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
