Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a general score of 81.7, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S4's 79 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy S8 body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy S4, but it's heavier. Samsung Galaxy S4 has a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy S8, although it has a bit less pixels per inch of screen, a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a little smaller display.

The Galaxy S8 has a bit superior processor than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a larger amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S8 takes clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has a back facing camera with a worse resolution, it also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality, a lot larger diafragm aperture and a lot better video quality.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has a greater memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB. Galaxy S8 features a little longer battery duration than Galaxy S4, because it has a 15% greater battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy S8 is a better device, it costs more money than Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S4. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S8, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy S4, letting go a couple features and specifications.
