Galaxy S4 is a little bit better than Galaxy XCover 5, with a 79 score against 78.1. Despite of the fact that Galaxy S4 is a lot older than Galaxy XCover 5, it's construction is extremely lighter and thinner. The Galaxy XCover 5 features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM. The Galaxy S4 features a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a better 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a much better memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S4, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1 TB. The Galaxy XCover 5 has a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy XCover 5 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a more megapixels back facing camera and a larger aperture.
