Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has an overall score of 80.1, which is a bit better than Galaxy S4's general score of 79. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version, giving a couple additional features. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a much newer device than the Galaxy S4, although it's incredibly heavier and much thicker.

Galaxy S4 features a little sharper screen than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a quite worse quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a quite smaller display. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM and a larger number of cores (and also faster). The Galaxy S4 shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light captures and videos and a smaller sensor, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy S4 also counts with a back-facing camera with a higher resolution.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a 73 percent greater battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S4. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S4, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
