The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S4, with a overall score of 81.1 against 79. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's construction is way newer than Samsung Galaxy S4's, although it's notably heavier and somewhat thicker. These phones have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a more recent 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4, offering a couple additional features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro shoots way better videos and photos than Galaxy S4, because it has a camera in the back with a way higher 64 megapixels resolution, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a larger diafragm aperture to take better photos in low-light environments.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a 93% bigger battery size.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S4. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S4, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
