Huawei Mate 8 has an overall score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S4 Value Edition's global score of 72.2. Huawei Mate 8's construction has the same thickness than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, but it's notably heavier. Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition counts with a sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition also counts with a just a bit better number of pixels in each inch of screen.
Huawei Mate 8 features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and more RAM. The Huawei Mate 8 takes much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a better resolution back-facing camera and better 60 frames per second video frame rate.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 128 GB and more internal memory capacity.
