The Huawei nova 3 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, having a 76.3 score against 72.2. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei nova 3 has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition has Android 4.4.2, so it offers a couple nice extra features and better performance. Huawei nova 3 is a noticeably heavier but just a little bit thinner phone than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition.

Huawei nova 3 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a higher 16 mega-pixels resolution camera and a way better (4K) video quality. The Huawei nova 3 has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that holds up to 256 GB.
