Sony Xperia 1 V has a general score of 82.7, which is much better than the Galaxy S4 Value Edition's score of 72.2. Despite being the best phone in this comparison review, the Sony Xperia 1 V construction is noticeably heavier and just a little thicker than Galaxy S4 Value Edition. Both devices in our current comparison have Android operating system, but Sony Xperia 1 V has the previous 13 version and Galaxy S4 Value Edition has Android 4.4.2.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition features a much powerful CPU than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a lower number of cores (although faster) and a smaller amount of RAM. The Galaxy S4 Value Edition counts with a slightly better screen than Xperia 1 V, although it has a lot smaller display, a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a way lower pixels number per inch in the display.
Sony Xperia 1 V counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory. Xperia 1 V features a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a camera in the back with a much better 48 megapixels resolution and a much higher (4K) video resolution.
The Xperia 1 V has a much longer battery life than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a 92% more battery capacity.
