The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has an overall score of 79, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S4 Value Edition's 72.2 score. Despite being the best phone in this review, Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's design is incredibly thicker and way heavier than Galaxy S4 Value Edition. These devices work with Android OS, but Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy S4 Value Edition has Android 4.4.2 version, providing the user some additional features.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact and Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition count with similar displays, and although the Xperia XZ2 Compact has a just a little greater display pixel density and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2160px, they both have a same size screen. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB and more internal memory.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit better processor than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and also faster). Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a way better camera than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a lot higher video definition and a much higher resolution camera.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little better battery life than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a 10% more battery size.
