Xperia Z5 has an overall score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S4 Value Edition's 72.2 general score. The Xperia Z5 construction is heavier but a little thinner than Galaxy S4 Value Edition. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z5 has newer 5.1 version while Galaxy S4 Value Edition has Android 4.4.2 version.
The Sony Xperia Z5 has a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a larger number of cores , an extra graphics processing unit and more RAM. Xperia Z5 has a display that's just as good as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition one, because although the Xperia Z5 has a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a quite larger screen.
Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 200 GB. Xperia Z5 takes greater photos and videos than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a way better (4K) video definition and a much higher resolution back camera.
Xperia Z5 features a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a 2900mAh battery size.
Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S4 Value Edition, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S4 Value Edition. If you want to save some money, you can buy Galaxy S4 Value Edition, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
