The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, with a global score of 76 against 72.2. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 design is notably heavier but a little bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition has Android 4.4.2, so it provides the user a couple additional features.
Galaxy S4 Value Edition has a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Galaxy S4 Value Edition also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has 4070mAh of battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, because it has a much higher resolution camera and a lot better (4K) video definition.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S4 Value Edition, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S4 Value Edition. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S4 Value Edition, resigning some specifications.
