The Asus ZenFone 7 is just a bit better than the Galaxy S5, having an 83.9 score against 80.8. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Asus ZenFone 7 has the older 11 version while Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2. Asus ZenFone 7 is a notably newer phone than Galaxy S5, although it is somewhat thicker and a lot heavier.
Asus ZenFone 7 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and more RAM memory. Galaxy S5 has a better screen than Asus ZenFone 7, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a higher display pixels density.
The Asus ZenFone 7 shoots way better videos and photos than Galaxy S5, because it has a much better 7680x4320 video quality, a larger aperture for better photography in poorly lited environments, a much bigger sensor which offers a much better image and video quality and a back facing camera with way more MP.
Asus ZenFone 7 counts with a superior storage for apps and games than Galaxy S5, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 7 features a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
