Comparison review
Google Nexus 6 is a bit better than the Galaxy S5, having an 81.1 score against 80.8. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS (operating system), but Google Nexus 6 has the newer 5.1 version and Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it counts with some extra features. Google Nexus 6 is a incredibly heavier and incredibly thicker cellphone than the Galaxy S5.
The Google Nexus 6 features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S5. Both of them have the same RAM amount, 4 CPU cores and a 500 MHz graphics processor. Galaxy S5 counts with just a bit better screen than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy S5 features a slightly better memory capacity for applications and games than Google Nexus 6, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 128 GB. Google Nexus 6 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 15% bigger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a little bit better camera than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a back facing camera with more mega-pixels.
Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S5. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy S5, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
