The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel's overall score of 80.2. The Samsung Galaxy S5 body is a bit thinner than the Google Pixel, although it's just a little bit heavier and was released 2 years before. The Galaxy S5 features a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S5 also counts with an additional GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a more vivid screen than Google Pixel, and although they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a little larger screen and a higher pixel density. The Google Pixel features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy S5 has just a little better battery life than Google Pixel, because it has a 2800mAh battery size. The Galaxy S5 shoots clearer videos and photos than Google Pixel, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing photos in low light situations and a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a way better 16 MP resolution back camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs more money than the Google Pixel, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Google Pixel, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
