Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4 XL is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5, with a score of 82.9 against 80.8. The Google Pixel 4 XL body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy S5, but it is a lot heavier. Google Pixel 4 XL features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with 3 GB more RAM and 4 more CPU cores.
The Galaxy S5 features a brighter display than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a little smaller screen and a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a little greater pixel number per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy S5 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor giving a lower image quality and a much tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a much more MP back-facing camera.
The Galaxy S5 features a slightly bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 128 GB. Google Pixel 4 XL features better battery life than Galaxy S5, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it is more expensive than the Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel 4 XL, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S5, letting go a couple features and specifications.
