Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is just a bit better than HTC U11, getting an 80.8 score against 77.6. Although the Samsung Galaxy S5 is noticeably older and a bit thicker than the HTC U11, it's body is still somewhat lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a much better display than HTC U11, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
HTC U11 features a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 128 GB, the HTC U11 also has 64 GB internal memory. Galaxy S5 features a little faster processing unit than HTC U11, because although it has a lower number of cores and 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
The Galaxy S5 has a bit better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a tinier camera sensor and a lot tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a back camera with way more mega pixels.
The HTC U11 has just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC U11. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S5, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC U11, giving up a couple specs and features.
