Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10 Pro's 79.2 global score. The Galaxy S5 design is lighter than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, although it is just a little bit thicker and was released 3 years before. Galaxy S5 has a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and lesser processing cores (although faster), it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
The Galaxy S5 has a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a little bit worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density. Samsung Galaxy S5 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a lot smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting pictures and video in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a bigger camera sensor and a camera with much more megapixels.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro features a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 43% more battery capacity.
