Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has an overall score of 90.5, which is better than Samsung Galaxy S5's 80.8 global score. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has the older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's design is a lot newer, but way heavier and just a bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy S5.
The Galaxy S5 counts with a brighter screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a way smaller screen and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G counts with a very superior storage for applications and games than Galaxy S5, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G also has faster video frame rate, a much higher 40 mega pixels resolution camera, a much larger aperture for better low light captures and videos and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking lot higher quality photos.
